Starting this Thursday from 10:30-12 in E40-316, I would like to begin a
series of meetings to plan the Systems Development projects and directions.
The goal is to create a document similiar to DAPPS one focusing on the
Systems Development area (and then developing a consolidated statement
of development direction).
Just to seed the thinking, some areas of interest might include:
* Vendor Operating Systems and Platforms and the layering of the Athena
Computing Environment
* extensions/enhancements to the sub-systems currently in the Athena
Systems Architecture
* new areas such as compute servers, object management, ...
