A new mailing list -- ``floorplans'' -- exists for those who are
interested in discussing the portation of floor plans for the
Institute to Project Athena. Several knotty questions arise from this
project: what's the proper vehicle for delivery? what applications
would people find useful? how can we integrate a data base function to
work with the floorplans?
I am working on answering some of these questions, and will present my
approach soon, but am in need of critical perspectives on the ideas
and arguments that I present. If you're interested in participating in
this dialogue, please let me know so that I can add you to the mailing
list.
