Come and visit the new Watchmaker Zone!
DCNS has remodelled its student programming area. The old turn-of-the-
century sweatshop rows of cubicles are gone, replaced with more free-form
workspaces.
We've made the Zone more suitable for long work sessions by bringing in
new ergonomically designed chairs and adjustable-height desktops.
It's now a much more inviting area, with plants, a lounge and meeting
area, and a 50-gallon fishtank. And behind the scenes, we've upgraded the
electrical circuits and phone lines...All with the intention of making
it a better place to work.
Come by and have a look at the new Zone and pictures of how it used to be...
There's a big difference! The official "ribbon-cutting" will be on Friday,
July 9th, at 3:00. Cake will be served shortly thereafter in the 3rd floor
lunch area.
(If you know someone who was once a Watchmaker and might not have received
this announcement, please pass it on! Send any questions to sao@athena.)
