Development group
We are accepting applications for student developers (UROP) to assist us
in developing and supporting network services for the MIT community.
We're looking for students who learn quickly, are self motivated, work
well as part of a team, and have a desire to improve MIT's network
computing environment. We look for students with the following: C or
Pascal programming experience, DOS or Windows applications development
experience, Macintosh applications development experience, UNIX
(especially Athena) applications development experience, familiarity
with MacOS, DOS, UNIX, or Athena system internals, or knowledge of
TCP/IP or AppleTalk networks and protocols. Responsibilities may
include coding, debugging, testing, documentation, porting applications
and code, distribution of software and code, evaluating software,
assisting clients, and building tools.
To be considered for a position in the DCNS-Dev group please submit a
statement of your interest in the position and description of your
