There are interesting efforts by Software AG to bring their products into our
kind of world that I hear good things about... In light of recent discussions

Database Services will be hosting a Technology Day here at MIT on Monday
October 26, 1992. The focus of this day will be Software AG's database
products. These products are currently used in support of several
administrative databases that reside on the IBM mainframe. Software AG
will be discussing their strategic direction and strategy for client/server
and distributive processing. The meeting will be held on Monday October 26th
from 8:30 - 3:30 at the Athena Visitors Center. You will be receiving an
invitation and agenda in the mail from Software AG. If you have any
