Distributed Computing and Network Services is looking for 
an MS-Windows Applications Programmer ...

Join a dynamic team which develops and maintains end-user applications 
for MIT's large campus network of Unix, Macintosh OS and MS-DOS 
machines.  Be part of our efforts to extend Project Athena's distributed 
computing environment to MS-DOS machines, providing services such as 
e-mail, messaging and access to information resources to MIT's diverse 
community.

You will design, code, debug, test, maintain and document MS-Windows 
applications and be a member of a team that evaluates users' needs and 
develops documentation, training and support.

Requirements: Recent experience in application development on MS-DOS 
platforms using C and Microsoft Windows essential. Familiarity with 
TCP/IP networks and protocols, DOS LANs, Unix, MIT's Project Athena, 
MIT's Kerberos, other development languages and environments, and 
university environments desirable. Excellent verbal, written, 
organizational, and interpersonal skills essential. BS in computer 
science, plus 2 years experience, or equivalent experience required.
