Status of the Technical Review Board (TRB) of DCNS

I write to you in followup to Cec's message awhile ago announcing the
creation of the DCNS Technical Review Board. As Cec said in her message,
the board is made up of the following individuals:
Kim Carney
Tim McGovern
Jon Rochlis
Peter Roden
Mark Rosenstein
Jeff Schiller
In addition to the members above, there are two "rotating" membership
slots which are currently held by Lucien Van Elsen and Bill Cattey.
The board has now met productively several times. One of our first (in
fact I believe it was *the* first) decisions was to make the minutes and
e-mail discussions of the group public. To that end the "trb@mit.edu"
mailing list was created. It is a public list managed through Moira,
feel free to add yourself to the list. We have also established a publicly
readable discuss meeting to archive the list (and for those who wish
to keep up on things without being on the mailing list). The discuss
meeting may be found on MENELAUS in /usr/spool/discuss/trb.
If you are interested in following the progress of the board, feel free
to peruse the discuss archive or chat with any member of the board.
