Scott and I have been investigating the design of a system to manage and
route electronic forms. This system could be used both as an adjunct to
the existing paperwork system, in order to reduce paper flow and redundant
data entry, and also as a skeleton on which applications such as bug-
tracking systems could be built.
We're holding a meeting from 10:30 to 11:30 on Thursday, August 29th in
E40-319 to discuss this. If you have any ideas on what you'd like to
see in an electronic forms routing system, please attend!
I've been writing a paper describing our preliminary design of the system,
which will be available on Monday the 26th.
