OK, folks! We rant and rave about Big Brother being the large ass
he's been for years now. I agree with every last bit of it! I think the
US Gov't needs a major attitude adjustment. Or rather the public
officials that run the Gov't. Why don't we begin educating the masses (by
whatever means necessary; i.e. bombard the media, get students involved
[they seem to be the ones that get things done.], whatever within the bounds
of decency) so that laws don't just slip by? Why doesn't someone write
some excellent software to GIVE to the general public? I mean PGP's
great, but I know many, many people that can't tell the command-line from
their ass. The libraries are there, can't somebody write a GUI
interface?
The basic question is let's start doing something like getting more
people involved. Bitching about it doesn't change a thing!
