Hugh Daniel was centrally involved in arranging the list. John Gilmore
hosted the list on his machine.

Eric Hughes had nothing to do with the moderation decision in early 1996.
Check the archives. I won't recap the story here, but you'd better do some
careful refreshing of your memory.

No one announced the list was being closed permanently. Certainly not Eric
Hughes. Check with him (eric@sac.net) if you doubt me.
