Want to *REALLY* get something banned? Use your imagination and link
it to child abuse. This piece, although not as creative as Tim's
classic "Lolitawatch" essay, gave me a few moments of morning humor
over breakfast.

Subject: Internet Predators Have New Weapon
Message-ID: <36FD345F.F55AF6BA@hotsource.com>
Parents everywhere need to be aware that Internet Predators now have a
new weapon in their arsenal and that weapon may be in your own home.
If you have one of the new Intel processors in your computer and your
child uses that computer to surf the net or talk on chat rooms, your
child could be in danger.
The new Intel processors have an imbedded Processor Serial Number
(PSN) that can be read by any web site or chat room that requests it.
And, what's worse, YOU CANNOT STOP IT! Although Intel has effectively
spun the story to make people think that since this heinous function
can be turned off, it will stay off. This is not true. Major
technology media sources have proven that the function can be turned
back on remotely.
A predator with your child's PSN can easily purchase a list from a
list broker and identify your child and your address in short order.
For the safety of our children, the PSN function must be completely
removed from all Intel processors, either voluntarily or by
legislation, including a recall of existing chips.
