Following CII's annual meeting and just prior to the beginning of WAD &
GIN's joint conference.
Purpose: With privacy laws and concerns an international issue, new laws
being proposed almost daily, and concerns critics express about the
investigative profession, this is an ideal opportunity for investigators and
the general public from around the globe to meet and face the experts in an
international forum. Since members of three out of four of the above

this unique opportunity to address one of the most controversial issues
facing the investigative profession today.
Format: Expert panelists from the entire privacy spectrum will discuss,
debate and present various concerns from all sides of this explosive issue.
The panel shall include attorneys, news media, privacy advocates,
journalists, professors, government regulators, electronic data providers,
business leaders, Internet experts and law enforcement, selected from a
global pool. The expert panel will address such issues as: What rights of
privacy can and should we expect; How far does an individual's right to
privacy extend; How do privacy rights and concerns transcend international
borders; How does the international community balance the rights of privacy
with other rights and needs (security, protection of assets, law
enforcement, open records acts, the right to know, freedom of information,
rights of litigants, rights of lending institutions); What can and should be
done to control unethical information brokers; What have investigators and
investigative journalists done to deserve current and pending restrictions;
What can investigators and investigative journalists do to improve their
image; Is there a common ground or compromise; What does the future hold?
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:

Subject: Face Recognition Mates With Bag Tag
Face Recognition Integrated Into FotoTag For Enhanced Airport Security
WELLESLEY, Mass.-- March 17, 1999--Miros, Inc. announced it will be
integrating its cutting edge TrueFace(TM) technology into FotoTag, Inc.'s,
FotoTag(R) ServiceNet(TM) passenger/baggage reconciliation solution. FotoTag
is a subsidiary of Exigent International, Inc. The combination of TrueFace and
FotoTag will be used to offer passengers and airport personnel a more secure
and efficient service, which allows real-time identification of frequent
flyers and others at various locations in the ticketing and boarding process.
In addition, this new technology will reduce lost time and confusion often
found in the boarding process.
The TrueFace technology is in good company with FotoTag and its business
development teammates (for more the FotoTag team visit:
www.xgnt.com/pr_exi76.htm) who collaborated to bring this passenger boarding
expediting system to fruition for air travelers. These companies will further
work in concert to market and implement this valuable and much needed solution
to airports around the globe. The FotoTag system works successfully by
capturing passenger images and associates this information with itinerary,
baggage, and other related travel documents. With the help of Exigent
International's InterPlay(TM) Active Messaging System which enables the
transfer of information between elements of the boarding system coupled with
Miros' TrueFace software, this process is transparent to the airport traveler.
"We are enthusiastic about the possibilities which accompany this
collaboration," said Gavin Ridge, executive vice-president of Exigent and
general manager of FotoTag, Inc. "Miros' TrueFace represents a special value
to our customers in multiple contexts, including the recently proposed
Passenger Bill of Rights."
"Miros' TrueFace software integration provides security and expedited movement
for travelers worldwide," added Dr. Michael Kuperstein. "We are excited not
only about this passenger application, but also about our developing strategic
relationship with FotoTag and Exigent."
