Decent voice compression can get you to ~5kbps per second,
which is 1.8MB/hour. Not that Win95 doesn't randomly suck down
30MB of swap space when you just try to start Outlook, but
you'd still notice 40MB/day of disk vanishing.
Of course "They" could suck that down the Ethernet and hide it on the
disk and copy to tape drive without you noticing,
but any organization that did that could do a competent job of
running backups, unlike our corporate PC admin staff at work :-)
And besides, the Computer Freedom Foundation would get on their case....
