Jesus, coming from an .edu extension i hope its a troll.

Chomsky is considered one of the greatest intellectuals in US history.
I have never read any of his classic linguistics books, but I have read a
majority of his political dissertations.
A friend of mine who graduated from Canada informed me that it is mandatory
to read at least one of his books prior to graduation.
I would suggest reading them all, he has, without a doubt, one of the most
insightful and analytical minds of our era.
