During his run for Governor of Texas a few years ago, Clayton Williams
remarked (in front of reporters) "Getting raped is like the weather. If
you can't do anything about it, you might as well lay back and enjoy
it." I believe he also made some remarks about going to one of the
Mexican border towns in his youth to "get serviced" (his euphemism).
He lost.
