Unless there were large gaps in what he said and what was printed,
there is no way to make such a conclusion from the text given.

WRONG WRONG WRONG! When asked about a *specific* product
being fielded by Sun, not only did he comment that privacy was a
farce, but his "Get over it" statement effectively said, "There is no
privacy *and* *we* *don't* *care*." "Get over it" implies that you
shouldn't expect any privacy, now or in the future. That he was
making the statement in direct response to a question about a Sun
product means that he may as well have been saying that there will
be no privacy considerations in said product.

I don't make any comments to the integrity of the CEO or the company,
but I think you have a lot of balls to come to a forum such as this in
some sort of spin control effort for a company who seems to have
turned its back on privacy concerns, if their CEO's opinion can be
a gauge of the mood of the company. Nothing short of a full
retraction by McNealy of his comments will even begin to placate me,
and even then, I'll probably think twice when dealing with Sun in the
future.
