January 22 story in The Washington Post tells of profit to be made from
the sale of identities. Driver's license photos are being sold by state
governments to a company developing a database to prevent identity
theft. So, the state makes money off my ugly mug, retailers charge me
more to pay for this photo ID shit, increasing sales tax due to the
state. Damn! Can we expect a state tax cut after all this?
