Exercises in comparative morality are futile. There are always situations worse
than the ones you may be criticising. The only price for freedom is personal
responsibility. I don't like the idea of playing poker with consitutionally
guarenteed rights. (i.e. we will give away this right and be so happy to have that
one.) I do not want to imagine how horrific it must be to live in a place like
Singapore. Unfortunately, it's becoming easier to do.
