I can't recall any examples. Most are far too brief for me.
I have never even subscribed to the print version of "Wired," and last
bought a copy several years ago. The "ransom note" typography and the
hectic, jumping around, hipper-than-thou writing style seems more aimed at
those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
The articles I like to read tend to come from one of these sources:
* the science magazines and journals, including "Scientific American," "New
Scientist," "Discover," "Smithsonian," and "Science."
* editorial and investigative reporting magazines like "The New Yorker,"
"The Atlantic Monthly," "The Economist," and "Harper's." (For example,
detailed reports on Russian biowarfare continuing research, the bombing of
the Sudan plant, and so on. )
* magazines catering to specific hobbies or interests of mine, including
"Home Power News," "Guns and Ammo," etc.
I don't find any of the online news services to be very interesting.
Usually because of lack of depth.
