Remember, the USPTO knows no prior art beyond its accumulated
patent files and with yesterday's Supreme Court upholding
of the State Street case, there have to be hothouses just
cranking patents as fast as their laser printers can go;
what have they got to lose except the filing fee? You think
anyone is going to challenge each and every one of these
jewels? Hah! The four professors have it right, here is
a low capital way to get a piece of existing action; I'm
just curious if they are speaking from experience or analysis.
I think I'll go patent a variety of frauds so I can get myself
added as an injured party to all the lawsuits of the next
century.
