Dear Trader,
Here is a summation of what happened last week and a look at some of
the cool things that you can expect from INO in the next few weeks!
<1> The markets enjoyed a torrid first week of the year as stocks
rocketed to new highs and commodities staged a recovery. The Dow
closed at 9,643.32 on a late Friday resurgence, while the Nasdaq broke
records all week as it finished on 2,344.41. Stocks boosted the US
dollar and the greenback in turn reversed an early charge by the
newly-minted euro which ended below 1.16 after rising above 1.18. The
good economic news driving equities hurt bond futures. However,
livestock, grains and juice came on strong, with hogs benefiting from
new government programs, and this pushed up the CRB Index of 17 futures
prices to 197.72 by the end of the week.
