Yes, and it would be interesting to know what the religious
affiliation of the judge was.  Various Catholic cults, such as
Opus Dei are replete with lawyers (and presumably judges) much
as with the church of Scientology.  Some of them in high places.

I know of Opus Dei's status first hand, having seen it work its
magic on young teenage boys -- getting the cream of the academic
crop and brainwashing them.

ObCrypto: Louis Freeh is a bigwig in Opus Dei.
