Tuesday, May 13th:
We started out getting together after classes at 3. We took the T over to park
street and explored the area, took some pics at statues by the state house.
We got to see the gardens and the commons. It was a pretty nice day and Jim
thoroughly enjoyed receiving a nipple job from a duck. (It's always been his
dream). After putzing around their and meeting some interesting tourists who
were incapable of taking a proper photo for us outside of cheers, we headed over
to harvard square by T. So we pissed on John Harvard (what else do people do
over there?) and then grabbed some "gourmet" burgers at Bartley's. I don't know
why they're "gourmet," but they are named after famous people. Personally, I
took a bite out of Elvis. Then we retired for some studying.
The next day we got together around the same time and headed on the T to China
town. Clarence showed us some of his favorite chinese treats: chinese waffles
and some tapioca drink with black pearl berry-things in the bottom. The waffles
were really good, but I wish the straw wasn't wide enough to suck up those
berry-things, cause they were nasty. We checked out a sushi-bar, and took
pictures in front of a big Buddha mural. Then we headed back for a quick pledge
test (which we passed with flying colors, or so we hope). Next up was Matrix
Reloaded. We checked it out with next house-they bought out a screen. It was
ridiculously amazing.
