Hi,
I'd like to suggest considering what's on the subject line- the issue
is that for a couple of apps, popup windows appear with no obvious way
to drag them somewhere- notably in the new Mathematica 3 which I just
installed- it has a large transient floating toolbar which pops open
on top of the main GUI... this also comes up in various other apps like
Tecplot (for example when you select Print).
Also, our SGIs seem to have this on by default (I know the window
manager is different), so behavior is not consistent across platforms.
