I've been asked to look into the question of hooking up zip drives to
Athena workstations. While I haven't actually got one working yet
(I should have converter today...), I have gotten far enough to
realize that there are release implications.
Some of the issues are minor: creating a device here, adding an fstab
entry there, but some will require more thought. For instance, there
are some format and mount utilities available for the SGI. Do we want
to use them? In a locker?
I'm not asking for answers to specific questions yet, but simply want
everyone to be aware that we need to start dealing with this in the near
future.
