I just got of the phone with an SGI guy.
It does indeed look like patch 1268 deals specifically with the behavior
that caused the ApplixWare panic.
If I can get a crash and burn machine today, I will run one final test
myself of the 158 point patch.
If you want to begin working on getting it installed, let me know. Too
bad I didn't know at this confidence level two or three weeks ago.
