Just as an FYI, for the dialups; I'm planning on leaving this on the Precise machines, and having its removal be incorporated in the Trusty upgrade.

[hey look, traffic on cfyi!]
The krb5-clients package has been removed from the default set of packages
in Debathena, as part of the preparation for the Trusty upgrade later this
summer. The package no longer exists in Trusty, and has been obsolete for
a long time. Users running Precise may re-install the package by hand, if
they want. This package provided the Kerberized versions of rlogin, rcp,
rsh, ftp, and telnet, which have been obsolete for some time. Anyone who
was still relying on the Kerberized version of those commands should make
preparations to switch to a different connection mechanism (e.g. SSH,
SFTP).
