Hi Jonathon,
I think we're basically ready to move over the Linerva name to
athena.dialup, and I think we'd like to do so this IAP if that's still
possible.
Did you get to chance to look at the last comment on
https://athena10.mit.edu/trac/ticket/1176? I think that's basically the
last outstanding issue, and I think we'd be satisfied with some sort of
approach that results in people being emailed when their dialup is about
to reboot. Email notifications on all reboots would also resolve #1180.
I think it'd probably be good to meet sommetime this week briefly to
discuss that and work out the transition plan. A couple of us are
available to meet this Thursday or Friday morning before 11:45 AM -- is
there a time that works for you?
I'd like to plan on doing the transition approximately a week from now if
that schedule is also good with ops.
