You should be able to git clone the two relevant repos in /mit/linerva/git and build them the normal way you do for a debian package. If you don't have sbuild set up, "debuild" probably works fine, but there are linerva-specific build instructions in /mit/linerva/doc, and feel free to either make yourself an account on zulu or add yourself to linerva@zulu's .k5login if you want to use that as a builder - just make a new directory for the Ubuntu stuff.

Someone on a real computer can probably provide more details.
