Reactivate 2.0.29 (pushed out at the end of Feb), broke DBus, including the ability to use flash drives, optical discs, and sound. Reactivate 2.0.30 fixes this, and is currently in proposed, and has been tested by multiple uses on beta machines.
I would like to push out reactivate 2.0.30 later today (let's say, 3pm). The risk is minimal (that is, the risk is not any larger than pushing out any update to any package), since the functionality is already broken. The backout plan would be to re-deploy reactivate 2.0.29. Since the last 2 weeks of classes sees increased Athena usage, we are likely to see additional bug reports from users about this problem. (We have seen 3 reports of sound problems, 1 CD burning problem, and 2 reports of flash drive problems in the past 2 weeks).
