We are going to set up a mailing list (release-announce) and
associated discuss meeting for sending notifications of upcoming
general releases. There should be one announcement a while before
(about a week; 4-8 days) and one announcement shortly before (1-2
days) any general release.
Our initial list for release-announce includes:

goguen (TBD - the help desk will let us know)

There is an SGI release scheduled for next week. Associated:
- umount fix (we didn't get the fix in the last release)
- vrt believes this release will not break ron's workstation
We are also promoting and publicizing the use of htmlview for help
(and eventually for dash). Htmlview attempts to use a currently
running browser to display url material instead of running a new
browser.
