I haven’t tried installing these, but just from looking at the packages I
note the following:
Natty is ubuntu11.04, not ubuntu11.4. Though you probably don’t need that
tag at all if the same packages are intended to be used across multiple
Ubuntu releases. The right version is probably something like
6.2.2.00-0mit1.
Packages are not supposed to install into /opt or /usr/local. Unless
upstream doesn’t let you change this, I would try to put most things into
somewhere like /usr/lib/tsm-backup.
If you run ‘lintian’ on your packages, you’ll find several screenfuls of
errors and warnings. Some of them might be unavoidable, but most are
worth paying attention to. (Especially the files owned by uid 20353
instead of root.)
Do you have a source package that you built these from, or did you build
binary packages directly in some other way?
