Deferred until 2/11, but that's a hard deadline. We can have a build attempt by the end of the next week. (Ed. The build is apparently blocking on athdir for reasons we don't understand)

> 2) Debrief on auto-update failure and recovery

ACIS is visiting clusters and performing manual recovery or, where that fails, re-installation. Once complete, we will check in on Nagios to see what systems still require intervention. jdreed will draft mail to release-announce for private workstations.

Testing is needed to ensure that killing cron doesn't break the new auto-updater.

Maybe developer machines should be Ubuntu's proposed so that we see things like this ahead of time?

> 3) Pharos update

Bugs are still being worked out. Each cluster still has at least one non-Pharos printers. Feedback should go to pharos-release.

> 4) pagbug on the dialups

X11 briefly broke, but now it works again. When we transitioned to Debathena (a year ago), we knew we would lose QUOTE ATCH and QUOTE AKLG functionality in the FTP server. It's now the case that QUOTE AKLG would be helpful for recovering from pagbug. Do we care enough to revisit building our own FTP daemon again?

We should investigate moving to OpenAFS 1.6. Ops is concerned about the implications of enabling a PPA.
ACTION ITEM: geofft will send details to jweiss.

> 5) Other business

We need new "Print Smarter" signs. They should probably point at a URL on debathena.mit.edu which can then forward to Hermes or something trivially update-able.

Sendmail is not as verbose as it once was. Perhaps msmtp should syslog (http://msmtp.sourceforge.net/doc/msmtp.html#Logging)? We need a trivial way to enable this for end users.
ACTION ITEM: jweiss will open a Trac ticket.
