In case I'm late or miss the meeting: I think LTS-only releases for
clusters is a bad idea. Having only one release a year will already
leads to stale applications. Some 3partysw packages in Maverick are
already 6+ months behind the latest releases at development sites.
Towards the end of an LTS release we're likely to have many applications
as much as 3 years out of date, as things were getting when we tossed
Athena 9.4. It was painful.
