It's actually the case that on the System V platforms we use a program
called x3270, not tn3270. The mitvma script on those platforms
appropriately calls x3270, and running it by hand functions correctly.
It is not clear to my why this isn't working under Solaris, although I
know it doesn't work on the SGI (that's a bug that fell through the
cracks). I will look into it.
