1) Pro/E users

lizdenys reached out to Mech E and they said they'd get back to her.

The dialups are going 64-bit, removing the last public 32-bit workstations. We have temporarily designated w20-575-69 through -75 as 32-bit machines.
ACTION ITEM: jdreed will come up with and deploy signage warning users of the implications of building software on these machines and also the proposed end date of this temporarily deployment (6/30/11).

Once the signs are deployed, these machines will henceforth be referred to as the "signed 32-bit machines".

2) The installer logging

jdreed has tested this on two cluster machines and one workstation machine. We should push it out next week.

QUERY: Do we want to have a "beta" installer for additional user testing?

3) build-all currently builds into production

geofft proposed a restructuring of the repository (see -c debathena from last night), but we agreed in the end that build-all should just build into -dev and go through the normal testing process (now that the installer honors clusterinfo). geofft noted that this will require changes to ensure that it doesn't pull buildddeps from production.

ACTION ITEM: geofft will make the necessary changes.

4) Maverick & Squeeze

Maverick is being released on 10.10.10. It is now 10.01.10. Squeeze was recently frozen.

ACTION ITEM: geofft and lizdenys will do Maverick builds.

5) Jaunty

We still have 215 jaunty users according to counterlog.
ACTION ITEM: jdreed will reach out to them.

6) Graphics drivers

Similar to the 32-bit machines, we will designate some machines in W20 to have the ATI driver installed. This requires coordination with and discussion with developers.

7) Printing

Ops has put some changes into place, and more are scheduled on the server side. Once those are deployed, we can begin working on client-side bugs.
QUERY: Do we want to keep plugging add-athena-printer once we move to Pharos? Or should we treat printing to other queues the same way we do on Windows and Mac: namely that you add the queues by hand.

8) Meeting time

Meetings will be at 3:30 for the remainder of the semester. jdreed will schedule them in Exchange.
