Evan and Geoffrey,
I was not at MIT on Friday, but tried the following (according to
your suggestion) on Saturday:
I logged in as myself (ldbraida with my Kerberos password).
I had to login without customizations.
I ran the Update Manager and received the following messages:
Starting Udate Manager
Not all Updates can be installed
Run a Partial upgrade
Enter your password
(entered Kerberos password)
Failed to run /usr/bin/update-manager
'--dist-upgrade' as user root.
Contact the system administrator.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
