Hi,

I set up Matlab and Maple test locker for Java printing problem debugging as
you had asked.

Both installs are completely unmodified from the vendor's stock install. To
run the Matlab test version (the Desktop will launch by default):

	add matlab.test
	matlab

and to run Maple:

	add maple.test
	xmaple

For Maple, you can also run the "classic" GUI with:

	maple -cw

which does not have printing problems as it doesn't use Java printing.

When you try to print from Matlab as of now, you get the same problem
as reported earlier today (about 15 or so printers show up in the pick
list). Trying to print from Maple may appear to hang; sometimes a
dialog about "no print service found" pops up, and nothing else seems to
happen.

I gave you full acls and I'm fine with write acls being passed on to anyone
appropriate- and they can tinker around with the contents as much as they
like.

                                         Alex
