I think the "never caches results" phrase might be confusing. How about
less info that might be confusing and more info they will understand:
1. Some commands run slower.
Accessing files (including system software) is 4-5x slower.
2. Machine very slow.
Some commands run 18x slower.
Increases load on AFS servers, affecting performance for
everyone else. We don't yet know how severe this effect
would be if the new release were widely deployed.
