Drop date is Wednesday, 19 November. We generally try to avoid patch
releases between then and end-of-term.
Cluster linux machines currently have a proprietary ATI display driver
that doesn't work very well. Updating this probably, but not
necessarily, calls for a patch release, which if we're going to have any
sort of dev release testing period suggests a dev cell release ASAP.
We've also got some minor Red Hat updates and a fix for a bug in the
GNOME keyboard preferences handling, but overall it should not be a patch
release of major proportions.
Assuming the driver stuff works out, any objections to a patch release
going to the dev cell next week and targeted for the Athena cell on the
evening of 17 November?
