I successfully ran ooffice on a test machine here, graphic-arts-five- 
seventy-six.

I logged onto dewey the consultant machine alleged to have problems  
and confirmed
that OpenOffice does NOT run.

I swapped the video card from graphic-arts-five-seventy-six to dewey.
But OpenOffice STILL would not run.

Interesting, n'est pas?
