The copy of athena.iso which was in the bootkit locker has been updated
to the final version 6 release. It's functionally the same as the beta
that's been in testing for a while, except that it will reboot after the
install instead of automatically exiting to a debugging shell after
install. (There have been a bunch of other recent updates and bugfixes
for the Linux Athena install process, but they've mostly been in the
scripts that live in AFS and are independent of which media is actually
used.)

Usage doesn't change in any major way; it's still "boot from the CD,
follow the prompts to configure the network, and answer some setup
questions." The CD will remain captive through the entire install,
though once this image makes it onto the PXE servers it should be less of
an issue.

The new image is based on RHEL4, as is Athena 9.4, so the driver setup
situation should be more reliable, and putting disks in "legacy mode" or
similar should never be necessary.

Please send any questions, bug reports, and so forth to release-team@mit.edu.
