This is a reminder that the Athena 9.4.43 patch release is currently
scheduled for the evening of Monday November 19. Changes include:
On both platforms:
* numpy (Numerical Python extension) has been added to the release.
* Firefox has been updated to 2.0.0.9.
* The JDK has been updated to 1.5.0 update 13.
On Linux:
* Machines without cluster info will now see public-linux info.
* Public machines can now be queried for their X config files.
On Solaris:
* Patch 119900-03 has been applied.
* An /opt/mono symlink has been added to facilitate the mono locker.
If you have a machine set AUTOUPDATE=false, you can update it manually
after the release goes out by doing a console login as root and
running "update_ws".
Please send any questions or comments to release-team@mit.edu. Please
