The 9.4.35 cleanup patch was targetted for deployment today, but there
are three issues with that:

  1. I dropped the ball (again) on the olc attachandrun scripts when
building the release; I was a bit hurried with stuff piling up
     before my vacation.

  2. I never sent mail to release-announce, because I was too
studiously not thinking about work during my vacation.

  3. According to http://diswww.mit.edu/menelaus/bugs/27036 and
scattered reports over Zephyr, Linux cluster machines have been
sporadically crashing since 9.4.34 was released. Andrew may have
a bit more data than I have, but I'm currently attributing these
crashes to the OpenAFS 1.4.2 upgrade, since we didn't change the
kernel in 9.4.34. So my current plan is to back out OpenAFS
1.4.2 on Linux, and leave it in place on Solaris.

If it seems reasonable to people, I will:

  * Put out a 9.4.36 with the olc changes and the Linux OpenAFS
backout. Hopefully today and with no other changes.

  * Announce the release for Monday, January 29.
