I happen to know that the cdrecord locker still has at least one user,
whcih is to say "me". Though having realized that cdrecord appears to
be in the release for linux decreases my demand significantly.
However, a quick google search reveals a pile of documentation
pointing to the cdrecord locker. Some effort should be putin gto
finding an updating this, probably before we actively break the
locker. Another possibility is a wrapper around cdrecord in the
locker telling people what to use instead, though with the version in
the release that's probably not required.
