What appears to have happened in 7.7 is that we disabled the SIGURG
handler under Solaris. I've done so in 8.0, even though it's not
totally correct. I'm not very enthusiastic to fully diagnose this
bug. (I've already gone over the relevant differences between Cygnus
rlogin and ours, and haven't found anything promising.)
