OK, just had a hallway conversation with jdreed:
He proposes to make afslocker still work, but with a warning that it's
deprecatred. This is fine with me.
Also- since changes are being made for attach, he proposes to now
include the -f switch with attach also, unless someone strongly
objects. I support this- it will be very helpful for reasons I
outlined previously.
