There's a new install image in the bootkit locker for Athena linux
machines, version 5a.

Changes in the new version:
- new hardware drivers (notably for newer SATA hardware and network interfaces)
- no network drivers at all on the floppy version of the boot image;
  booting from CD is highly recommended

In light of the latter point, an older floppy image (for older hardware)
which includes many network drivers continues to be included in the
bootkit locker. Because of the former, recent SATA machines that didn't
work as-is with the current install media (notably the Dell gx620) will
no longer require being switched to "compatability" or "combination" mode
before the install will succeed.

The PXE server does not yet have the new image available for
network-based installation, but it should be available shortly. Older
install media continues to work so long as the target hardware is
supported by it.

Please send any questions or comments to release-team@mit.edu. Please
report any bugs you find with the "sendbug" command.
