I have initial package lists for Solaris 10, in /afs/dev/user/rbasch:
solaris-9.4-release
This lists the packages to be installed in the 9.4 release
(a rough first pass).
solaris-9.4-skip
This lists the packages NOT to be installed in the 9.4 release.
solaris-9.4-all
This lists all of the Solaris 10 packages; this is the union
of the other two files.
Installing the packages in the "release" list will occupy about 1.9 GB
of disk space, almost double the space occupied by OS packages in 9.3.
Much of that extra space is due to the addition of GNOME 2 libraries
(so we can build firefox against them, and maybe other benefits), and
other duplication of things currently in the release, most notably
gcc; we should consider whether to drop the OS version or the Athena
version.
Please let me know of any questions about these packages.
