The 9.3 public release for Linux seems to have gone off without
incident. I forced the hesiod DCM around 9pm to start machines
updating. The w20 cluster network appears to have been slightly sadder
than it was for the Solaris update, with some machines taking over 3
hours to update.

The damp weather left me nonplussed at the thought of wandering around
campus to check on things, so I compromised with an athinfo scan of the
public cluster machines, which indicated most everything has either
finished updating or had at least started.

The only machine I found that seemed sad for software reasons was
m2-225-1, which has been updating since 1am and has about 10 million
lines of the following in update.log:

error: rpmdbNextIterator: skipping h# 1769 Header V3 DSA signature: BAD, key ID db42a60e

I couldn't find any other machines in that state by casual inspection,
so I assume it's RPM database was corrupt in some way to begin with, and
reinstalling it will fix the problem.

Garry
